Leonardo da Vinci is the vocational training programme within the
Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) 2007 - 2013.

Leonardo da Vinci uses transnational cooperation to improve quality,
foster innovation and promote the European dimension of vocational
training systems and practices.

Leonardo mainly funds Public and/or private bodies and institutions involved
in vocational training. Individuals can only be funded to make preparatory visits.

Euroguidance Euroguidance network was established to support exchanges of data and of information on the national education and training systems and learning opportunities within the Union.
The elearningeuropa.info portal, established by the European Commission, has more than 25,000 registered members and over 5,000 items in its Directory.


The euro|guidance network is a co-operation of over 65 centres throughout 31 European countries. The network aims to support the guidance community in promoting European mobility and the European dimension within education and training through the provision of quality information and exchange of best practice.

There are two National Resource Centres in Ireland. euro|guidance at NCGE is responsible for the co-ordination of euro|guidance activities in the education sector.

The FÁS euro|guidance centre is responsible for activities in the vocational training and labour market sector.
